WHEN IS ISLAND EXODUS 12 ON-SALE?

Our on-sale is broken down into three categories:

  • Island Exodus 11 attendees can book their room packages starting on 5/25
  • Island Exodus 2-10 attendees can book their room packages starting on 5/26
  • All other interested parties can book their room packages starting 5/27

WHAT ROOM PACKAGES ARE AVAILABLE? HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

We offer a variety of rooms from pool and ocean views to butler service suites. A full list of options and prices can be found on the Jewel Paradise Cove page as well as the Bahia Principe Luxury page.

ARE PAYMENT PLANS AVAILABLE?

Yes! Payment plans will be available upon check out. Guests will have to make their initial deposit and then the balance will be spread across monthly payments until the final due date.

I ONLY ATTENDED THE VERY FIRST YEAR, CAN I PURCHASE DURING PRE-SALE?

Unfortunately the inaugural event was prior to Island Gigs' involvement in the event and we do not have the database from Island Exodus 1 available. You will need to book your rooms with the general on sale.

WHAT ARE THE DATES OF ISLAND EXODUS 12? WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE AND DEPART?

All Island Exodus 12 packages include 4 night stay. IE12 concerts and activities take place on January 16, 17, 18, 19, 2022. January 20th is the check out date.

Those wishing to come in a day early (1/15) or leave a day later (1/21) can add an extra night to the front and/or back of their trip for an additional fee. When booking, after you’ve added your package to your cart, you will be able to add the additional night options before you have completed the check-out process.

I NOTICED THERE ARE TWO RESORTS. WHAT'S UP WITH THAT? WHICH ONE IS BEST FOR ME?

In the past we have added Jewel Runaway Bay as a secondary property, however, that property is now closed. This year we are offering Bahia Principe Luxury Runaway Bay which have found to be a much better alternative. You can find more details about both properties by selecting the one you are interested in from the menu bar at the top of any page.

IF MY FRIENDS ARE STAYING AT THE BAHIA PRINCIPE AND WE ARE AT THE JEWEL PARADISE COVE, CAN WE HOP ON THE SHUTTLE TO VISIT THEM?

Unfortunately there are no outside guests allowed at the Bahia Principe Luxury Resort. In return, Bahia Principe guests can only visit Jewel Paradise cove during shuttle times (see below).

HOW DOES THE SHUTTLE FROM BAHIA PRINCIPE LUXURY (SISTER RESORT) TO THE JEWEL PARADISE COVE (HOST RESORT) WORK? WILL I BE ABLE TO SEE THE WHOLE SHOW?

Complimentary shuttle busses to The Jewel Paradise Cove (host resort) will be available from 3pm to 2am (roughly 1hr after the last show ends). Shuttles will begin 1 hour before show time and will depart every 15-30 minutes.

WHICH AIRPORT SHOULD I FLY INTO?

Guests should fly into Sangster International Airport (MBJ) in Montego Bay, Jamaica. If you fly into Norman Manley International Airport (KIN) in Kingston, Jamaica you will have to get your own transportation to your resort, Brent.

HOW DO I GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE RESORTS?

Airport transfers from MBJ are included in the price of all Island Exodus Packages. You will receive instructions on exactly where you need to go once you land closer to the event in your Welcome Packet.

Please Note: Transfers will be available from the airport only (MBJ ) to your resort on the day you are checking in and from your resort to the airport (MBJ) on the day you check out. If you going to be staying someplace else in Jamaica before or after Island Exodus, you will need to arrange your own transportation. We do not provide pickups or drop offs other than the specific Airport - Resort - Airport route. There are no exceptions!

HOW FAR IS THE RESORT FROM MONTEGO BAY AIRPORT?

Jewel Paradise Cove is approximately 75 minutes from Montego Bay’s Sangster International Airport (MBJ).

HOW OFTEN WILL SHUTTLES RUN FROM MBJ TO THE RESORT? HOW OFTEN WILL THEY RUN FROM THE RESORT TO MBJ AFTER THE EVENT IS OVER?

We will reach out to all guests for their arrival and departure flight information before the event to ensure a smooth transportation experience.

IS AIR TRAVEL INCLUDED IN MY PACKAGE?

Air travel is not included in your package pricing. All guests should book their own flights. Once purchased, customers should login to their guest account and add it to their profile.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN MY STAY?

Both Jewel Paradise Cove and Bahia Luxury are all-inclusive resorts offering multiple restaurant and bars for you to choose from. At the conclusion of the evening show there will be a post show bonfire with food and drinks available. Please look at the description of each resort on our website to see the specifics of what each resort offers.

Your all-inclusive vacation also includes a service fee that is distributed amongst the staff, however, if you feel that a member of the team has gone above and beyond by offering you exceptional service, then you should feel free to tip them personally.

CAN WE CHECK IN EARLY? WILL THE RESORT HOLD MY BAGS IF THE ROOM ISN'T READY?

The resort’s standard check-in times apply for our packages. Check-in time is often not guaranteed until 3PM or 4 PM. However, the resort has assured us that they will do everything in their power to prepare rooms for check-in as early as possible. If you arrive before your room is available, we will be happy to provide you with your wristbands, merchandise and resort credentials so that you can enjoy the resort amenities and relax as your room is being prepared.

WHAT DOCUMENTATION DO I NEED TO TRAVEL?

To enter Jamaica a valid passport is required. Citizens of the U.S, the UK, Canada and other major European countries are not required to have a visa to visit Jamaica, but must present a valid passport when leaving and or re-entering their country. All visitors are required to travel with a return ticket or onward ticket for entry into Jamaica.

Other nationalities please contact your local Jamaican embassy, Consulate or Jamaica Tourism office or visit www.VisitJamaica.com to verify correct documentation needed. We encourage you to PLEASE check your passport ASAP and make sure that it’s up to date and valid for at least 6 months prior to your departure date. If your passport is set to expire within 6 months of travel to Jamaica, Jamaican customs will not let you enter the country.

Please also visit the COVID-19 Information page for the latest information on any documentation required.

HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY TICKETS, TRIP DOCUMENTS, AND SCHEDULE OF EVENTS?

All of our documentation is paperless. We do not use snail mail or any form of expedited mailing services. This means about 3 weeks prior to the event, you will receive a document email with all of the details of your trip (what to do when you arrive at the airport, where to go, concert times, hotel info, etc.). The only documentation you’ll need is your passport which you must travel with anyway. It is a good idea to print your Island Gigs event confirmation just in case you need it for reference. The resort itself is private so no concert tickets are required. You will, however, need to wear an event wristband for identification.

WHAT ABOUT THE MUSIC...

This year features more music than ever before! Gov't Mule will perform three 2-set shows. Warren Haynes will perform a solo afternoon “Q & Play” set. We're excited to have Dawes as well as The War and Treaty this year. Ron Holloway will be back as a special guest doing something we like to call “Sax On The Beach."

WHAT ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES ARE AVAILABLE?

Matt Abts will host his annual drum clinic. And Ron Holloway will come back for some Sax on the Beach.

Each resort also offers a myriad of activities including but not limited to: Fitness Center With Classes and non-motorized water sports. Scuba Diving and Reef Snorkeling Excursions will also be available, but for an additional charge. Check with the concierge to see what other activities may be available at the resort you are staying at.

DO I NEED CASH?

Although your stay is all-inclusive, we do recommend having some cash available. While tipping is not expected, it is nice to have cash handy for those who provide exceptional service. There will also be various excursions from the resort during the day and you may want to purchase a souvenir or two.

Also, you will need cash if you plan on purchasing Island Exodus merchandise. We do bring a square reader to accept credit cards at the merch booth, but the connection does not always cooperate and cash will ensure that you get the items you want and help keep the line moving fast.

CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN?

The Jewel Paradise Cove is an 18+ Plus Resort, so children can not access the host resort and therefore can not attend.

WILL THERE BE ANY ADDITIONAL FEES ON TOP OF THE LISTED PACKAGE PRICES?

No additional fees will be charged once you have booked your package. Each Island Exodus packages offers an all-inclusive experience within the concert venue on all nights. Please note, the resort may offer certain amenities that are not included in your package price and require extra charges. These amenities may include spa treatments and off-site adventures.

WILL TICKETS TO THE CONCERT BE AVAILABLE WITHOUT BUYING A RESORT PACKAGE?

No outside tickets will be available for purchase. Admission to the event will only be available for those who purchase a package at the Jewel Paradise Cove or Jewel Runaway Bay.

CAN I PURCHASE A PACKAGE OUTSIDE OF THE EVENT WEBSITE?

All packages MUST be purchased through IslandExodus.com / IslandGigs.com. Do NOT purchase from an outside provider or ticket agent; packages purchased from a third party will not be honored.

WHAT IF I CAN NO LONGER ATTEND?

If you need to cancel or change your reservation, we ask that the Lead Passenger please contact Island Gigs at 646-862-6380. There is a fee for changing names but not for adding days to your trip. Please note, depending on when you cancel, payments can be 100% non-refundable, with the exception of guests with travel protection who cancel for a covered reason.
